Job Description/Specification:
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Officer to support environmental compliance and sustainability activities at a project site in Lusail. The successful candidate will monitor environmental practices, ensure compliance with applicable regulations and project requirements, and support the implementation of environmental management procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with environmental requirements and HSE standards.
- Conduct environmental inspections and prepare reports on findings.
- Support waste management, pollution prevention, and environmental monitoring activities.
- Identify environmental risks and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Maintain environmental records, documentation, and compliance reports.
- Coordinate with project teams and contractors on environmental requirements.
- Support environmental audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance activities.
- Promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices across the site.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant environmental experience.
- Degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, HSE, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, compliance, and site monitoring.
- Good reporting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a project/site environment.
- Immediate availability is preferred.
