Job Description/Specification:
The Rising Fan – F&B program is an intensive 18-month development opportunity designed for ambitious hospitality professionals looking to build a career in Food & Beverage management.
Participants will gain practical experience across multiple areas of F&B operations, combining hands-on training with administrative responsibilities and supervisory exposure. The program is structured to provide a broad understanding of both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
By the end of the program, successful participants should be prepared to take on responsibilities at an Assistant Manager level within Food & Beverage.
What You Will Experience
During the 18-month program, participants will rotate through a minimum of three Food & Beverage departments. This provides exposure to different operational environments and allows participants to understand how individual departments work together to deliver an effective guest experience.
Training will include:
- Hands-on experience in Food & Beverage operations.
- Exposure to both front-of-house and back-of-house functions.
- Departmental rotations across at least three F&B areas.
- Practical supervisory responsibilities.
- Administrative and operational training.
- Experience with day-to-day restaurant and hospitality procedures.
- Development of leadership and team-management skills.
- Exposure to different aspects of F&B service and operations.
- Opportunities to understand operational standards, guest service, and team coordination.
Career Development
The program is designed around practical development rather than classroom learning alone. Participants will gain experience by working directly within Food & Beverage operations and progressively taking on greater responsibility.
The cross-department structure also helps participants develop a broader understanding of the F&B business, including how service, operations, administration, and team supervision contribute to overall performance.
Throughout the program, participants will have the opportunity to strengthen their communication, organisation, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Where It Can Lead
The ultimate objective of the Rising Fan – F&B program is to prepare successful participants for an Assistant Manager-level position in Food & Beverage.
This makes the opportunity particularly relevant for hospitality professionals who want a structured pathway into management and are prepared to commit to an intensive, hands-on development program.
Candidates should be comfortable working across different F&B environments, learning from experienced teams, taking responsibility, and adapting to changing operational requirements.
For aspiring hospitality managers, the 18-month program offers a practical route to develop the operational knowledge and supervisory experience needed to progress within Food & Beverage.
