W Doha is seeking a Marketing Assistant Manager to support the planning and execution of property-level marketing and communications activities.
Working under the Manager of Marketing and Communication, this position focuses on strengthening the hotel's brand presence across traditional, digital, social media, and direct marketing channels. The role also works closely with Sales, Food & Beverage, Operations, Revenue, and regional marketing teams to develop campaigns that increase customer awareness, engagement, and hotel revenue.
Key Responsibilities
The Marketing Assistant Manager will support a broad range of marketing activities, including:
- Assist with implementing the hotel's annual marketing plan within budget.
- Support promotional campaigns designed to increase revenue from rooms, restaurants, spa, weddings, and events.
- Coordinate with advertising agencies on creative materials, media plans, and campaign execution.
- Assist with email marketing, digital advertising, and other online marketing initiatives.
- Monitor digital channels and ensure hotel communications remain consistent with brand guidelines.
- Support social media content updates and engagement across relevant platforms.
- Assist with online reputation management by monitoring guest feedback and coordinating appropriate responses.
- Support quarterly public relations plans and maintain relationships with local media contacts, food critics, and bloggers.
- Assist with press releases, promotional events, community activities, and media initiatives.
- Coordinate photography and content production for food and beverage promotions, hotel facilities, and seasonal campaigns.
- Support the production and distribution of hotel marketing materials, signage, and collateral.
- Maintain inventory and records of printed marketing materials.
- Assist with newsletters, communications activities, and joint promotional campaigns.
- Help ensure the hotel's website and related digital platforms remain updated.
- Monitor competitors' marketing, advertising, collateral, and digital activities.
- Keep up with emerging marketing, social media, and digital trends.
- Provide marketing support to hotel leadership, Sales, Revenue, and other departments.
Candidate Requirements
The position is open to candidates with either a four-year bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field, with no specific work experience required, or a two-year degree in a relevant discipline combined with at least two years of experience in sales, marketing, digital marketing, or a related professional area.
Experience in hospitality marketing or digital advertising would be particularly useful.
The successful candidate should have strong communication and organizational skills, an understanding of digital and social media marketing, and the ability to coordinate multiple campaigns and stakeholders simultaneously.
Attention to detail is important, particularly when managing brand materials, advertising content, website updates, social media communications, and marketing collateral.
