Job Description/Specification:
The Ritz-Carlton, Doha is seeking an experienced and service-focused Assistant Outlet Manager to support the daily operations of its luxury food and beverage outlets. The role is responsible for maintaining exceptional guest service, supervising outlet teams, managing operational standards, and ensuring efficient and profitable day-to-day operations.
The successful candidate will combine strong leadership, hospitality expertise, and commercial awareness to deliver a consistently high-quality dining experience while maintaining the standards expected within a luxury hotel environment.
About This Role
As Assistant Outlet Manager, you will support the Outlet Manager in overseeing daily F&B operations, coordinating team activities, monitoring service standards, managing inventory, and addressing guest requirements. You will work closely with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations and promptly resolve guest concerns.
Key Responsibilities
Outlet Operations
- Support the daily operation of the assigned food and beverage outlet.
- Ensure service standards, operational procedures, and luxury hospitality expectations are consistently maintained.
- Coordinate with kitchen, front office, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure smooth service.
- Monitor outlet readiness, service flow, and overall operational efficiency.
Team Leadership
- Supervise, coach, and motivate outlet staff to achieve high service standards.
- Assist with staff scheduling, task allocation, and daily briefings.
- Monitor team performance and provide guidance and feedback where required.
- Promote teamwork, professionalism, and a guest-focused culture.
Guest Experience
- Deliver personalized and attentive service to guests.
- Handle guest enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Ensure special requests, VIP requirements, and guest preferences are communicated and followed through.
- Maintain the service standards associated with a five-star luxury hospitality environment.
Inventory & Cost Control
- Support inventory management and ensure appropriate stock availability.
- Monitor consumption and assist with controlling wastage and operational costs.
- Coordinate with relevant departments regarding stock requirements and replenishment.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of food, beverages, and operating supplies.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, hygiene, and food safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized outlet environment.
- Ensure team members follow established hotel policies and operating procedures.
- Report operational or safety concerns to management and take appropriate corrective action.
Minimum Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in food and beverage operations, including staff supervision and inventory management.
- Experience in a luxury hotel, upscale restaurant, or fine dining environment is highly desirable.
