Job Description/Specification:


Qatar Airways is seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager – Landside Operations to oversee and optimize all landside activities at Hamad International Airport. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless passenger flow, efficient ground transport coordination, and exceptional service delivery across all landside touchpoints, aligned with Qatar Airways’ world-class standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all landside operations, including passenger drop-off/pick-up zones, transport coordination, parking, and curbside services.
  • Ensure smooth passenger flow and minimize congestion through effective planning and real-time operational management.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, airport authorities, and external stakeholders to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and improve service quality, ensuring a premium customer experience at all landside touchpoints.
  • Develop and implement operational plans, policies, and procedures in line with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee safety, security, and compliance across all landside activities.
  • Analyze operational data and prepare reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of supervisors and operational staff.
  • Handle incident management and ensure timely resolution of operational disruptions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in airport operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of landside airport operations and passenger flow management.
  • Experience working with airport authorities and multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
