Job Description/Specification:
Zia Cafe in Lusail is looking for a creative and reliable Part-Time Videographer to produce engaging visual content for its social media, promotional campaigns, and digital channels.
The role combines on-site filming at the cafe with remote editing and content planning. The successful candidate will capture the cafe’s atmosphere, food and beverages, events, and brand identity while ensuring all content maintains a consistent visual style.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and develop video concepts based on marketing and content requirements.
- Capture high-quality video footage showcasing the cafe, menu items, events, and guest experience.
- Film during peak operating periods, special events, and promotional activities when required.
- Set up and operate cameras, lighting, and other video equipment.
- Select appropriate lighting techniques for indoor and outdoor filming environments.
- Coordinate with the marketing or management team to understand content priorities.
- Edit recorded footage for social media, promotional campaigns, and other digital platforms.
- Organize video files and maintain an efficient content archive.
- Perform basic sound editing and ensure videos meet appropriate quality standards.
- Maintain consistency with Zia Cafe’s visual identity and branding.
- Manage filming and editing schedules independently and meet agreed deadlines.
- Work respectfully and professionally with cafe employees, guests, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute creative ideas that can improve the cafe’s digital presence and customer engagement.
Required Skills
Candidates should have:
- Strong skills in video production and promotional content creation.
- Practical experience shooting video for social media and digital platforms.
- Good knowledge of camera operation and video equipment.
- Understanding of lighting techniques for different filming environments.
- Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Basic sound editing knowledge.
- Ability to turn brand and marketing objectives into engaging visual stories.
- Strong organizational and file-management skills.
- Ability to plan shoots and manage deadlines independently.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Professional and respectful approach when working around guests and staff.
Preferred Experience
Previous experience creating visual content for cafes, restaurants, automotive brands, lifestyle businesses, or similar consumer-focused brands will be an advantage.
A portfolio or showreel demonstrating relevant videography and editing experience is required.
