Job Description/Specification:
Qatar Airways is seeking a GS Image & Style Specialist to join the Hub Operational Support team in Doha. The successful candidate will supervise Image & Style Officers, ensure all Ground Services and Lounges employees consistently meet Qatar Airways' grooming and uniform standards, deliver image and grooming training, and oversee uniform inventory and departmental operations.
This role is ideal for professionals with experience in image consulting, grooming, beauty, hospitality, cabin crew, or luxury customer service who possess strong coaching, leadership, and presentation skills.

About This Role
As the GS Image & Style Specialist, you will ensure Ground Services employees consistently present the professional appearance expected by Qatar Airways. You will deliver grooming and skincare training, supervise Image & Style Officers, manage grooming policies, coordinate uniform requirements, monitor inventory, and support employee development through coaching and performance management.
Key Responsibilities
Grooming & Image Standards
- Deliver grooming guidance and image consultations to Ground Services employees.
- Ensure all staff comply with Qatar Airways' grooming and uniform standards.
- Conduct grooming assessments for new and existing employees.
- Provide corrective coaching where standards are not met.
Training & Development
- Deliver practical training sessions covering:
- Makeup application
- Skincare
- Grooming techniques
- Professional conduct
- Coach employees selected for promotions and development programs.
- Mentor Image & Style Officers to improve departmental performance.
- Support continuous improvement through regular coaching and feedback.
Uniform Management
- Coordinate with the Group Uniform Department regarding:
- Uniform quality
- Distribution
- Replacement
- Stock availability
- Monitor uniform inventory and ensure sufficient stock levels.
- Validate and issue grooming and uniform-related special permission letters.
- Maintain accurate uniform records within company systems.
Policy & Documentation
- Update grooming and uniform policies, procedures, and training documentation.
- Maintain records in SharePoint.
- Ensure departmental documentation remains current and accessible.
- Maintain assessment records and performance documentation.
Inventory & Administration
- Procure makeup and grooming products.
- Maintain inventory records for grooming supplies.
- Monitor replenishment levels to ensure cost-effective stock management.
- Verify inventory records maintained by officers.
Performance Management
- Supervise Image & Style Officers.
- Conduct probation and performance evaluations.
- Report grooming concerns to line managers.
- Prepare formal memos for serious policy violations.
- Provide regular progress updates to management.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of relevant experience
OR
- High School Diploma / Vocational Qualification with 5 years of relevant experience
Experience
- Experience in image consulting, beauty, hospitality, customer service, or training.
- Previous experience as Cabin Crew or Makeup Specialist is an advantage.
