Job Description/Specification:
A leading Medical Center in Doha is seeking an experienced Dermatologist to provide comprehensive medical and cosmetic dermatology services. The successful candidate will diagnose and treat a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions while delivering personalized patient care and maintaining the highest clinical, ethical, and safety standards.
This position is ideal for licensed dermatologists with strong clinical expertise, excellent patient communication skills, and a commitment to evidence-based dermatological care.
About This Role
As a Dermatologist, you will perform comprehensive patient assessments, diagnose dermatological disorders, develop individualized treatment plans, prescribe appropriate therapies, perform approved dermatological procedures, and educate patients on skin health and preventive care. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams while ensuring compliance with Qatar healthcare regulations and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Assessment & Diagnosis
- Conduct detailed patient consultations and medical history assessments.
- Perform comprehensive dermatological examinations.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of skin conditions, including:
- Acne
- Eczema
- Psoriasis
- Dermatitis
- Fungal infections
- Pigmentation disorders
- Skin infections
- Assess and treat hair and nail disorders.
Clinical Treatment
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Prescribe medications and dermatological treatments.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as required.
- Perform or supervise dermatological procedures within the scope of practice and authorization.
- Evaluate patients for aesthetic dermatology procedures where applicable.
Patient Education
- Educate patients on:
- Skin health
- Preventive care
- Treatment options
- Medication use
- Aftercare instructions
- Promote long-term skin wellness and disease prevention.
Clinical Documentation
- Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential medical records.
- Document consultations, diagnoses, procedures, and treatment outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with medical documentation standards.
Quality & Patient Safety
- Follow infection prevention and control protocols.
- Adhere to clinical guidelines and patient safety standards.
- Identify urgent or complex dermatological cases and arrange appropriate referrals.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and licensing requirements.
Collaboration & Professional Development

Minimum Requirements
Education
- Master's Degree in Dermatology or a related medical specialty is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a practicing Dermatologist is preferred.
License & Certification
- Valid QCHP (Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners) License or eligibility is preferred.
