Al-Futtaim Retail is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to deliver an exceptional shopping experience while supporting daily store operations. This role is responsible for driving sales, assisting customers with product selection, maintaining store presentation, and ensuring operational excellence in a fast-paced retail environment.

About This Role
As a Sales Assistant, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing friendly, professional assistance throughout their shopping journey. You will help customers make informed purchasing decisions, maintain attractive merchandise displays, process sales transactions, and contribute to creating a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service
- Welcome customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service.
- Engage customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits to support purchasing decisions.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets through effective selling techniques.
- Build positive customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Thank customers and invite them to return after every visit.
Customer Engagement
- Provide accurate and up-to-date product information.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Promote gift cards and other value-added services during checkout.
- Capture customer information accurately for marketing and CRM purposes.
Store Operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
- Ensure fitting rooms are clean, organized, and customer-ready.
- Maintain cash wrap areas according to company standards.
- Support stock replenishment and merchandise presentation.
- Assist with store opening and closing activities.
Cash Handling
- Process customer purchases accurately using POS systems.
- Handle cash and card transactions securely.
- Maintain accuracy during checkout operations.
- Follow company cash handling procedures and policies.
Visual Merchandising
- Support merchandise displays and store presentation.
- Assist with visual merchandising activities.
- Utilize design software when required to support merchandising layouts.
- Ensure displays comply with brand standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of retail sales experience preferred.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform lifting tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in fashion, lifestyle, or retail stores.
- Familiarity with visual merchandising principles.
- Knowledge of CAD or design software is an advantage:
