Job Description/Specification:
Al Abdulghani Motors is seeking a highly skilled Digital Products Integration Specialist to lead the design, implementation, and governance of API-driven integrations between enterprise backend systems and digital applications. This role is responsible for driving the API-First strategy, enabling seamless connectivity across digital products, mobile applications, cloud platforms, and emerging technologies.
The ideal candidate will combine expertise in API architecture, integration platforms, cloud technologies, and enterprise architecture to support scalable, secure, and innovative digital solutions that accelerate the organization's digital transformation journey.
About This Role
As a Digital Products Integration Specialist, you will manage the complete lifecycle of enterprise APIs, develop API roadmaps, oversee integration standards, and collaborate with product managers, solution architects, and development teams to deliver secure and scalable digital services. You will also ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and IT governance standards while adopting emerging technologies that enhance business capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
API Strategy & Product Management
- Develop and manage the enterprise API roadmap aligned with business and digital transformation objectives.
- Promote and implement the API-First architecture across digital products and enterprise applications.
- Manage API products throughout their lifecycle, including versioning, enhancements, and decommissioning.
- Gather feedback from API consumers to continuously improve API functionality and user experience.
Integration Architecture
- Design and oversee technical integrations between backend systems and digital platforms.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement integration technologies and API management solutions.
- Develop scalable, secure, and resilient integration architectures that support enterprise applications.
- Ensure interoperability between internal systems and external platforms.
API Development & Documentation
- Develop and maintain API specifications, documentation, and integration guidelines.
- Ensure developers have access to APIs, SDKs, sample code, and interactive documentation.
- Manage interfaces with third-party applications and external service providers.
- Support API testing, deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization.
Enterprise Architecture & Governance
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, Security Architects, and Product Owners to align integration strategies.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, financial, and IT governance standards.
- Promote best practices for API security, scalability, availability, and performance.
- Support digital product lifecycle management through effective integration planning.
Innovation & Emerging Technologies
- Monitor emerging technology trends and recommend innovative integration solutions.
- Support the adoption of cloud computing, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, edge computing, and immersive technologies.
- Identify opportunities to improve digital services through modern integration technologies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance digital capabilities.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience
- Experience as an API Product Manager, API Developer, Technical Architect, Integration Architect, or similar role.
- Proven experience designing enterprise integration architectures and API management solutions.
- Strong understanding of digital product integration and enterprise application architecture.
Preferred Certifications
- API Product Management Certification.
- Google Cloud – API Design & Fundamentals of Apigee API Platform.
- Certified API Developer.
- Cloud platform certifications (Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, AWS) are advantageous.
