Job Description/Specification:
Al Abdulghani Motors is hiring a qualified Electrician to install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems across its facilities. The successful candidate will ensure reliable electrical operations while maintaining compliance with electrical codes, company policies, and workplace safety standards.
This role is ideal for experienced electricians with strong technical knowledge of electrical maintenance, fault diagnosis, preventive maintenance, and generator systems who are committed to delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality work.
About This Role
As an Electrician, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical installations, lighting systems, generators, and related equipment. You will diagnose faults, carry out repairs, maintain maintenance records, and ensure all work is completed safely using approved Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Installation & Maintenance
- Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, equipment, and appliances.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems.
- Replace faulty electrical components, wiring, switches, sockets, and lighting fixtures.
- Maintain electrical installations in offices, showrooms, and common areas.
Troubleshooting & Repairs
- Diagnose electrical faults using approved testing equipment and hand tools.
- Test electrical systems and circuit continuity to identify defects.
- Repair damaged wiring, insulation, loose connections, and faulty components.
- Attend to electrical and telephone faults, ensuring timely restoration of services.
Inspection & Testing
- Inspect electrical systems and equipment to identify hazards and non-compliance.
- Conduct routine testing to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Perform weekly generator testing in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable electrical codes and safety standards.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures before carrying out electrical work.
- Use appropriate PPE at all times while performing maintenance activities.
- Maintain compliance with company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies.
- Ensure equipment is properly isolated before commencing repairs.
Documentation & Inventory
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and electrical inspection records.
- Prepare estimates for electrical materials and spare parts.
- Support electrical audits and preventive maintenance schedules.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- High School Certificate or Diploma.
- Government-recognized Certificate in Electrical Trade.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrician or Electrical Maintenance Technician.
- Experience in commercial, industrial, automotive, or facility maintenance environments is preferred.

- Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings.
