Hyatt Regency Oryx Doha is seeking a customer-focused Team Leader – Recreation to oversee the daily operations of the hotel's recreation facilities, including the swimming pool, spa, and fitness center. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring guest safety, maintaining a clean and welcoming recreational environment, and delivering exceptional hospitality in line with Hyatt's global service standards.

About This Role
As the Team Leader – Recreation, you will supervise recreation operations, ensure the health and safety of guests using the pool, spa, and gym facilities, and support the Recreation Department in delivering memorable guest experiences. You will lead by example, maintain international safety standards, and foster a welcoming environment for both business and leisure travelers.
Key Responsibilities
Recreation Operations
- Supervise the daily operations of the swimming pool, spa, and fitness center.
- Ensure recreation facilities are clean, safe, and fully operational.
- Monitor guest activities and maintain a secure recreational environment.
- Support the Recreation Department with daily operational duties.
Guest Experience
- Deliver exceptional customer service aligned with Hyatt brand standards.
- Welcome guests and provide information about hotel facilities and services.
- Assist guests with recreation-related inquiries and requests.
- Create a welcoming and stress-free environment for all visitors.
Health & Safety
- Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all guests using recreation facilities.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies.
- Maintain compliance with safety procedures and hygiene standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of recreation facilities and equipment.
Team Leadership
- Lead by example and support the Recreation team in daily operations.
- Coordinate activities to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Promote teamwork and maintain high service standards.
- Assist with training and mentoring team members when required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Internationally recognized CPR Certification.
- Internationally recognized Lifeguard Certification.
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent English communication skills.
