Hilton is seeking a motivated and service-oriented Assistant Recreation Manager to support the daily operations of its health club, fitness center, spa, and recreational facilities. About This Role
As the Assistant Recreation Manager, you will assist the Recreation Manager or Director in overseeing all recreational operations, including fitness, spa, wellness, and guest activities. You will supervise team members, maintain service excellence, support business initiatives, and ensure compliance with Hilton's operational and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Recreation Operations
- Assist in managing the daily operations of the health club, fitness center, spa, and recreational facilities.
- Ensure seamless delivery of recreation and wellness services.
- Monitor facility operations to maintain exceptional guest experiences.
- Support continuous improvement of operational processes and service quality.
Team Leadership
- Supervise, train, schedule, and mentor recreation, fitness, spa, and guest service team members.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing work environment.
- Provide coaching and performance feedback to team members.
- Step into operational roles when required to maintain service continuity.
Guest Experience
- Deliver exceptional hospitality and personalized guest service.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and service recovery professionally.
- Ensure guest satisfaction through proactive engagement and quality service delivery.
- Promote recreational programs and wellness activities.
Business Operations
- Support marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns.
- Assist with merchandising and recreational programming.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment.
- Track operational performance and contribute to financial efficiency.
- Support revenue-generating initiatives across recreation facilities.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and operational standards.
- Promote a safe environment for guests and team members.
- Monitor adherence to regulatory and company policies.
- Support emergency preparedness and operational risk management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Hospitality, Recreation, Sports Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience in recreation, fitness, spa, wellness, or hospitality operations.
- Experience managing guest-facing teams within a hotel or resort environment.
