Job Description/Specification:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Horse Riding Instructor / Equestrian Coach to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in horse riding, horse training, and coaching riders of all skill levels, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and equestrian excellence.
About This Role
As a Horse Riding Instructor, you will be responsible for training horses, coaching beginner to advanced riders, and ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and structured learning environment. You will work closely with students to improve their riding techniques while promoting horse welfare and stable safety.
Key Responsibilities
Riding Instruction
- Conduct professional horse riding lessons for beginners, intermediate, and advanced riders.
- Develop structured training programs based on each rider's experience and goals.
- Teach correct riding techniques, posture, balance, and horse control.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Horse Training & Care
- Train and exercise horses to maintain performance and responsiveness.
- Assess horse behavior and implement suitable training methods.
- Ensure horses are properly prepared for lessons and activities.
- Monitor horse health and report any concerns to stable management.
Safety & Stable Operations
- Ensure all riding sessions comply with established safety standards.
- Educate riders on horse handling, stable etiquette, and riding safety.
- Inspect riding equipment and tack before each lesson.
- Maintain a safe and organized training environment.
Student Development
- Encourage confidence and skill development in riders.
- Adapt coaching methods to suit different ages and learning abilities.
- Prepare riders for recreational riding, competitions, or certification programs where applicable.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in horse riding and horse training.
- Ability to coach riders from beginner to advanced levels.
- Recognized equestrian coaching certification.
- Fluent in English.
- Available for full-time employment (6 days per week).
