Job Description/Specification:
Hilton is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Recreation Attendant to create memorable recreational experiences for hotel guests. This role is responsible for organizing and facilitating a variety of leisure activities, including fitness sessions, poolside entertainment, sports, and children's programs, while ensuring a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for guests of all ages.

About This Role
As a Recreation Attendant, you will lead and support recreational activities designed to enhance guests' stay while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality, safety, and service. You will work closely with other hotel departments to deliver engaging programs, encourage guest participation, and ensure recreational facilities remain safe, clean, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Engagement & Recreation
- Organize and facilitate recreational activities for guests of all ages.
- Lead fitness classes, sports activities, poolside entertainment, and children's programs.
- Encourage guest participation while creating a fun, friendly, and inclusive environment.
- Promote wellness and recreational programs available throughout the hotel.
- Deliver memorable experiences that enhance guest satisfaction.
Customer Service
- Provide professional, friendly, and personalized service to all guests.
- Respond promptly to guest enquiries and recreational requests.
- Promote hotel recreational facilities, services, and scheduled activities.
- Resolve guest concerns professionally to ensure an exceptional experience.
Safety & Facility Management
- Monitor recreational facilities to ensure guest safety at all times.
- Conduct routine inspections of recreational equipment and activity areas.
- Report maintenance issues and damaged equipment promptly.
- Ensure all recreational spaces remain clean, organized, and presentable.
- Follow all health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
Teamwork & Operations
- Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other departments to support events and guest activities.
- Assist with setting up and dismantling recreational equipment and event spaces.
- Contribute ideas to improve recreational programs and guest engagement initiatives.
- Support special events, seasonal activities, and hotel promotions.
Compliance
- Adhere to Hilton's operational standards and hospitality values.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and safety procedures.
- Maintain professional conduct while representing the Hilton brand.
Minimum Requirements
- Previous experience in recreation, hospitality, fitness, leisure, or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and actively participate in fitness and recreational activities.
- CPR and First Aid certification is an advantage.
- Good command of English; additional languages are beneficial.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
