Job Description/Specification:
Snoonu is looking for a proactive and organized Camp Officer to oversee the daily operations of employee accommodation facilities while ensuring a safe, comfortable, and positive living environment. This role is responsible for managing camp operations, coordinating logistics, supporting employee welfare, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.

About This Role
As a Camp Officer, you will manage employee accommodation, coordinate camp activities, maintain operational standards, and act as the primary point of contact between camp residents, HR Operations, and Accommodation Supervisors. You will ensure smooth daily operations while promoting employee well-being, safety, and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Camp Operations & Administration
- Oversee the day-to-day management of employee accommodation facilities.
- Supervise camp support staff and ensure smooth operational activities.
- Organize employee room allocations, bedding, and accommodation for new arrivals.
- Assist with employee check-ins, check-outs, evaluations, and administrative reporting.
- Maintain accurate camp records, attendance logs, and operational documentation.
- Manage camp inventories and ensure adequate supplies and equipment are available.
Employee Welfare & Support
- Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive camp environment.
- Monitor employee well-being and address concerns promptly.
- Guide employees on camp rules, policies, and community standards.
- Handle conflicts professionally and maintain a harmonious living environment.
- Coordinate employee engagement activities and special events.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company policies and Ministry regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of camp facilities and equipment.
- Monitor health, safety, and hygiene standards throughout the accommodation.
- Record incidents and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Support emergency preparedness and safety initiatives.
Logistics & Coordination
- Coordinate employee transportation for new arrivals.
- Liaise with HR Operations and Accommodation Supervisors regarding accommodation requirements.
- Assist with camp setup, maintenance coordination, and operational improvements.
- Prepare schedules, notices, and communication materials for camp residents.
- Ensure efficient coordination between accommodation and operational teams.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Recreation, Physical Education, Social Work, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Previous experience in camp management, accommodation management, hospitality, facility administration, or employee welfare is preferred.
- Leadership or supervisory experience is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent organizational and administrative abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
