Job Description/Specification:
EY is expanding its Finance Consulting Practice across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and is seeking experienced Finance Transformation Consultants, Assistant Managers, and Managers. This role focuses on helping organizations modernize finance functions, improve financial planning and performance management, enhance governance, and deliver strategic finance transformation initiatives.
You will collaborate with senior leaders to redesign finance operating models, improve financial processes, and provide actionable insights that support better business decision-making across both public and private sector organizations.
About This Role
As part of EY's Finance Consulting team, you will work on large-scale finance transformation programs, helping clients transition from traditional transactional finance functions to strategic business partners. You'll advise organizations on financial planning, budgeting, governance, performance reporting, and process optimization while delivering measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Transformation
- Lead and support finance transformation programs across client organizations.
- Design and implement finance operating models.
- Improve finance processes, governance, and organizational effectiveness.
- Support finance modernization initiatives aligned with business strategy.
Financial Planning & Performance Management
- Develop financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting frameworks.
- Support revenue and expenditure management initiatives.
- Prepare financial performance reports and executive dashboards.
- Analyze financial results and provide strategic recommendations.
Public Financial Management
- Support government and public sector financial transformation initiatives.
- Conduct spending reviews and revenue diversification assessments.
- Develop cost allocation methodologies and pricing strategies.
- Improve financial sustainability and operational efficiency.
Process Improvement
- Enhance end-to-end finance processes including:
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Order-to-Cash (O2C)
- Record-to-Report (R2R)
- Develop finance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Improve accounting cycle efficiency and governance.
Business Analysis
- Gather and document business and functional requirements.
- Conduct benchmarking and gap assessments.
- Analyze finance operations and recommend improvements.
- Support finance technology implementation projects.
Stakeholder Management
- Prepare executive-level financial reports and presentations.
- Deliver client workshops and presentations.
- Communicate financial insights to senior management.
- Build trusted client relationships across MENA.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Approximately 5–10 years of experience in:
- Finance Transformation
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Finance Consulting
- Accounting Advisory
- Performance Management
- Experience working with leading consulting firms or accounting firms is highly preferred.
Preferred Professional Certifications
One or more of the following certifications are highly desirable:

- CMA (ACMA)
- Other recognized accounting or finance qualifications
