Job Description/Specification:
H & N Interior Decorations is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join its growing team in Doha. The successful candidate will perform a wide range of carpentry and interior fit-out tasks, including wood fabrication, installation, and finishing work. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings while delivering high-quality workmanship.
About This Role
As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing wooden structures, furniture, cabinetry, doors, windows, and other interior components. You will work independently and collaboratively with the project team to ensure all carpentry work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Carpentry & Installation
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other construction materials.
- Install doors, windows, cabinets, wardrobes, shelving, and other fixtures.
- Perform framing, finishing, and interior fit-out carpentry work.
- Ensure accurate alignment, fitting, and finishing of all installations.
Quality & Workmanship
- Deliver high-quality carpentry work that meets project specifications.
- Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy and durability.
- Complete assigned tasks within project deadlines.
- Identify and resolve installation or construction issues effectively.
Tools & Equipment
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of construction materials.
Health & Safety
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow company safety procedures and construction site regulations.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during all tasks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, Technical Certificate, or Vocational Qualification in Carpentry is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Carpenter in construction, interior fit-out, or furniture manufacturing.
- Valid Driving License.
- Reliable transportation.
