Al Emadi Enterprises, one of Qatar's leading diversified business groups, is seeking an accomplished Group Supply Chain Manager to join its Shared Services Division. Reporting directly to the CEO, this strategic leadership role will drive the transformation and integration of supply chain operations across multiple business sectors, including real estate, retail, hospitality, automotive, construction materials, and events.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced supply chain leader to design and implement a centralized, ERP-enabled operating model that enhances operational efficiency, reduces costs, strengthens supplier partnerships, and supports the Group's continued expansion across Qatar.


About This Role

As the Group Supply Chain Manager, you will oversee the complete supply chain ecosystem, including procurement, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, fleet operations, and supplier performance across all business units. You will lead large-scale transformation initiatives, standardize processes, optimize costs, and build a high-performing shared services function while ensuring each business unit's operational requirements are met.


Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Strategy & Transformation

  • Develop and implement the Group's supply chain strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Lead the transformation of decentralized supply chain functions into a centralized Shared Services model.
  • Drive ERP implementation and supply chain digitalization initiatives.
  • Establish standardized operating procedures across all business units.
  • Develop KPIs and performance dashboards to monitor operational excellence.

Procurement & Strategic Sourcing

  • Lead centralized procurement and strategic sourcing activities across the Group.
  • Develop sourcing strategies to maximize purchasing power and cost savings.
  • Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and manage global and local suppliers.
  • Establish supplier performance management frameworks and scorecards.
  • Build long-term strategic supplier partnerships while minimizing supply risks.

Logistics & Fleet Management

  • Oversee inbound and outbound logistics operations across multiple business sectors.
  • Optimize transportation networks, delivery performance, and logistics costs.
  • Manage commercial fleet operations, utilization, maintenance, and safety compliance.
  • Evaluate and manage third-party logistics (3PL) service providers.
  • Improve logistics efficiency through process optimization and technology adoption.

Warehousing & Inventory Management

  • Manage warehouse operations across all Group companies.
  • Optimize warehouse layouts, storage utilization, and material handling processes.
  • Develop inventory planning strategies to balance availability and carrying costs.
  • Implement inventory control systems to reduce stock shortages and excess inventory.
  • Improve forecasting accuracy and warehouse productivity.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Build, lead, mentor, and develop high-performing supply chain teams.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO, Finance, and Business Unit leaders.
  • Lead organizational change and transformation initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Influence strategic business decisions through operational insights and analytics.

Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop supply chain performance metrics and reporting frameworks.
  • Analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Implement Lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Drive cost optimization, service quality, and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Ensure governance, compliance, and risk management across supply chain operations.

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or MBA is highly preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 10–15 years of progressive supply chain management experience.
  • At least 5 years in a senior leadership position overseeing procurement, logistics, warehousing, and fleet management.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide supply chain transformation projects.
  • Experience working within diversified conglomerates or multi-business organizations.
  • GCC or Qatar experience is highly desirable.

Professional Certifications

Preferred certifications include:

  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
  • Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)
  • Six Sigma
  • Lean Management
  • PMP (advantage)
