Job Description/Specification:
TechBiz Global is seeking a talented Bilingual Business Analyst to join one of its leading international clients. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, clients, and technology teams to analyze business needs, define system requirements, and support the successful delivery of digital solutions within the Insurance and Insurtech sector.
This role is ideal for professionals with strong business analysis expertise, Agile project experience, and insurance industry knowledge who can effectively communicate in both English and Spanish.
About This Role
As a Business Analyst, you will bridge the gap between business and technology by gathering requirements, documenting business processes, supporting system testing, and ensuring solutions meet business objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle while contributing to continuous process improvement and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis
- Collaborate with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams to understand business challenges and recommend effective solutions.
- Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
- Conduct business process analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), functional documentation, and user stories.
- Support business process redesign and system enhancement initiatives.
Agile Project Delivery
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, developers, and QA teams.
- Contribute to project planning, effort estimation, and delivery timelines.
- Support release planning and deployment activities.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Develop business test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
- Support System Testing, Quality Assurance (QA), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Validate that delivered solutions meet business requirements.
- Assist with issue identification, defect tracking, and resolution.
Documentation & Communication
- Prepare business documentation, process maps, and procedural guides.
- Create technical and functional documentation to support solution implementation.
- Communicate project updates and business requirements to internal and external stakeholders.
- Mentor junior Business Analysts and provide guidance when required.
Technology & Systems
- Support business understanding of web and mobile application functionality.
- Assist with data integration and business process documentation.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience as a Business Analyst.
- Experience within the Insurance industry is mandatory.
- Experience in Health Insurance or Insurtech is highly preferred.
