Job Description/Specification:
Raf Pharmacies is seeking a customer-focused and licensed Pharmacist to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care while supporting the daily operations of the pharmacy. The successful candidate will ensure the safe dispensing of medications, deliver professional patient counseling, maintain excellent customer service, and contribute to achieving sales and operational objectives.

About This Role
As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, counseling patients on the safe use of medicines, managing customer enquiries, supporting inventory availability, processing insurance and cash transactions, and ensuring smooth pharmacy operations throughout your assigned shift.
You will also contribute to sales initiatives, promote healthcare products, and maintain strong coordination with purchasing, inventory, and logistics teams to ensure product availability.
Key Responsibilities
Pharmacy Operations
- Manage daily pharmacy operations and assigned dispensing counters.
- Dispense prescription medications accurately in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
- Verify prescriptions and ensure safe medication dispensing practices.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and shift documentation.
- Ensure smooth shift handover by providing proper endorsements to the incoming pharmacist.
Patient Care & Customer Service
- Provide professional medication counseling and healthcare advice to patients and customers.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback.
- Deliver exceptional customer service aligned with company standards.
- Assist customers in identifying suitable healthcare and pharmacy products.
Sales & Product Promotion
- Actively participate in daily sales initiatives and promotional campaigns.
- Promote in-house healthcare products and pharmacy services.
- Support the sale of promotional and near-expiry products in accordance with company guidelines.
- Encourage teamwork to improve pharmacy sales performance and customer satisfaction.
Inventory & Procurement Support
- Record customer product enquiries and maintain enquiry documentation.
- Coordinate with the Purchasing Department regarding new product requests and out-of-stock items.
- Follow up on store requisitions to ensure product availability.
- Maintain effective communication with buyers, store personnel, and transport coordinators.
Financial & Administrative Duties
- Process cash transactions accurately.
- Handle insurance claims and billing procedures.
- Maintain daily activity reports and operational records.
- Respond promptly to internal emails and communicate important updates with pharmacy staff.
- Investigate and explain any discrepancies related to sales or insurance transactions during assigned shifts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
- Valid Pharmacist License or eligibility to practice in Qatar.
- Previous retail or community pharmacy experience is preferred.
- Experience with insurance claims processing is an advantage.
