We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental team in Doha, Qatar. About This Role
As a Dental Hygienist, you will perform preventive dental treatments, conduct oral health assessments, assist in periodontal care, and educate patients on maintaining good oral hygiene. You will also ensure compliance with infection control standards, maintain accurate patient records, and contribute to a safe, comfortable, and professional clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Dental Care
- Perform professional dental cleanings, scaling, polishing, and stain removal procedures.
- Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and periodontal charting.
- Assist in the early detection of oral diseases and periodontal conditions.
- Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
- Support dentists in delivering preventive and restorative dental treatments.
Patient Education
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive dental care.
- Provide guidance on brushing, flossing, nutrition, and oral health maintenance.
- Promote preventive care programs to improve long-term oral health outcomes.
- Answer patient questions and provide professional oral health advice.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate patient records, treatment notes, and clinical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention, sterilization, and cross-contamination control protocols.
- Follow all clinical policies, regulatory requirements, and professional standards.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and fully equipped treatment environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Dental Hygiene.
- Valid Dental Hygienist License or eligibility for professional licensing.
- Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred.
- Experience in dental clinics, hospitals, or specialist dental centers is an advantage.
