Dotnet Technical Lead

Job Description/Specification:

An opportunity is available in Doha for an experienced .NET React Technical Lead to lead full-stack development teams and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in C#, .NET Core / .NET 8, ASP.NET Core, React.js, REST APIs, and Microservices, combined with proven technical leadership experience. The position is suited to a senior developer who remains actively involved in development while guiding teams, reviewing code, and supporting architecture and integration decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Lead a team of .NET and React developers through application design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor developers on coding standards and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure applications meet quality, security, and performance requirements.
• Participate in solution design, technical estimation, and Agile sprint planning.
• Troubleshoot complex application and production issues.

Application Development

• Design and develop enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET Core/.NET 8, and React.js.
• Build scalable and maintainable RESTful APIs and Microservices.
• Apply appropriate software design principles, patterns, and enterprise architecture standards.
• Develop data-access solutions using Entity Framework Core and SQL Server.
• Identify and resolve application performance bottlenecks.

Integration & Messaging

• Design application integrations through API Gateways.
• Implement event-driven solutions using Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
• Support integration with existing enterprise applications and services.
• Work with SOAP-based services where required.

Cloud & DevOps

• Support applications deployed within Microsoft Azure environments.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application deployment.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.
• Support production releases, deployments, and application stabilization.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 8–12 years of enterprise application development experience using .NET technologies.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Technical Lead or in a similar leadership capacity.
• Strong hands-on expertise in C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET Core/.NET 8, and React.js.
• Experience developing REST APIs and Microservices.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise application architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with Git and modern source-control practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
