Job Description/Specification:
Score Plus Education Center in Doha is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic German Language Trainer to deliver high-quality language instruction to students across different age groups and proficiency levels.
The successful candidate will teach German from A1 to B2/C1 levels, prepare students for internationally recognized examinations, and provide an engaging learning environment that supports individual academic and language goals.
Key Responsibilities
German Language Training
- Deliver engaging German language lessons from beginner to advanced levels.
- Teach both school students and adult learners.
- Prepare structured lesson plans, learning materials, exercises, and assessments.
- Adapt teaching methods according to individual student needs and learning abilities.
- Maintain an interactive, professional, and motivating classroom environment.
Student Assessment & Exam Preparation
- Monitor student performance and provide regular constructive feedback.
- Conduct assessments and mock examinations to measure progress.
- Prepare students for certifications such as Goethe, TELC, TestDaF, and other recognized German language examinations.
- Identify learning gaps and provide additional academic support where required.
Academic Support
- Ensure lessons are aligned with relevant international language standards and curricula.
- Maintain student progress records and academic documentation.
- Coordinate with academic and administrative teams when required.
- Support online or blended learning sessions where applicable.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in German Language, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
- German language proficiency of at least B2/C1 level preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of German language teaching experience preferred.
- Previous experience working in a language institute, training center, or school is advantageous.
- Ability to teach both adults and school-age students.
- Familiarity with international curricula and German examination boards.
- Candidates currently based in Qatar or willing to relocate are preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Goethe-Institut certification or equivalent.
- Experience preparing students for Goethe, TELC, or TestDaF examinations.
- Experience using online teaching and learning platforms.
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
