Job Description/Specification:
We are seeking an experienced Campaign & Shutdown Supervisor to support offshore Oil & Gas operations in Qatar. The role will be responsible for planning, preparing, coordinating, and executing offshore campaigns and shutdown activities while maintaining the highest standards of HSE, operational readiness, schedule control, and contractor performance.
The successful candidate should have strong shutdown and campaign management experience, preferably within Oil & Gas, petrochemical, refining, exploration, or production environments.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign & Shutdown Management
- Manage pre-work, preparation, and execution phases of offshore campaigns and shutdowns.
- Develop detailed execution plans in coordination with the Offshore Installation Manager and relevant teams.
- Ensure shutdown activities are executed safely and according to approved procedures, schedules, and operational requirements.
- Monitor execution progress and implement corrective actions to achieve shutdown objectives.
- Contribute to the development and monitoring of Level 4 plans and critical path activities.
Planning & Readiness
- Coordinate all required information and maintain the Bookies Board for campaign and shutdown activities.
- Liaise with onshore coordinators to confirm manpower, materials, equipment, permits, and other execution requirements are ready.
- Identify potential constraints and take appropriate actions before execution.
- Utilize planning tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project to support scheduling activities.
HSE & Contractor Coordination
- Promote the company’s Incident Free culture and ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
- Manage contractor resources to ensure activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and reliably.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams working during campaign and shutdown periods.
- Ensure offshore work activities comply with company standards and procedures.
Reporting & Performance
- Prepare and submit daily campaign and shutdown progress reports.
- Provide regular updates to the Campaign & Shutdown Coordinator and relevant offshore management.
- Monitor critical activities, schedule performance, and emerging operational risks.
- Maintain clear communication between offshore execution teams and onshore coordination functions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant Oil & Gas industry experience.
- Strong experience in Campaign and Shutdown Management within Oil & Gas operations.
- Experience in petrochemical, refining, exploration, or production environments is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Advanced knowledge of SAP CMMS is required.
- Strong understanding of shutdown planning, execution, scheduling, and critical path management.
- Previous offshore Oil & Gas experience is highly desirable.
- Must be medically fit to work on an offshore Oil & Gas platform.
- Fluent English communication skills, including technical terminology.
