Job Description/Specification:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst – Core Banking Transformation (Corporate SME) to support enterprise-wide Temenos T24 Core Banking transformation programs.
The successful candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Retail and Corporate Banking Operations, supporting business requirements, operating model design, process transformation, data migration, testing, implementation, and change management.
The role requires extensive experience with Temenos T24, Islamic Banking, and Core Banking transformation projects, preferably within the Middle East banking sector.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements
- Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements.
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specification Documents (FSDs).
- Conduct stakeholder workshops, Fit-Gap Analysis, and impact assessments.
- Maintain requirement traceability and support project scope management.
Core Banking Transformation
- Act as SME for Retail and Corporate Banking Operations during T24 transformation.
- Support end-to-end core banking implementation, migration, and modernization programs.
- Define Target Operating Models (TOM) aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
- Review existing processes and identify opportunities for standardization, automation, and improvement.
Process & Operating Model Design
- Develop As-Is and To-Be process maps and operational workflows.
- Define business rules, procedures, controls, and operating requirements.
- Support the development and implementation of standardized banking processes.
Data Migration & Testing
- Support migration strategy, data mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
- Validate migrated customer, account, balance, and transaction data.
- Develop test scenarios and test cases for business requirements.
- Lead or coordinate SIT and UAT, including defect management and resolution.
- Support production deployment, go-live, and post-implementation stabilization.
Change Management & Stakeholders
- Develop SOPs, user manuals, and training materials.
- Conduct end-user training and support operational readiness.
- Coordinate with business teams, IT, vendors, and implementation partners.
- Facilitate project workshops and provide management with regular status updates.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 11+ years of experience in Core Banking Transformation.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience with Temenos T24 Islamic AA and TPH implementations.
- Strong experience in Retail and Corporate Banking Operations.
- Proven involvement in core banking implementation, migration, and transformation projects.
- Previous client-side experience as a Business Analyst or Banking SME.
- Strong knowledge of the Middle East banking environment and Islamic Banking operations.
Certifications
Mandatory: Temenos T24 Certification.
Preferred certifications include CBAP, PMP, PMI-PBA, Agile/Scrum, or ITIL Foundation.
