Job Description/Specification:
Snoonu, Qatar’s leading homegrown Super App, is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to support purchasing operations across its rapidly growing Snoomart dark store network. This role is responsible for executing daily procurement activities, coordinating with suppliers, monitoring inventory replenishment, and ensuring optimal product availability across multiple categories to support fast and reliable Q-Commerce operations.
The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement, buying, or supply chain operations, with strong analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail or FMCG environment.
About This Role
As a Procurement Coordinator, you will play a key role in maintaining stock availability by managing purchase orders, coordinating supplier deliveries, monitoring inventory performance, and supporting the Inventory Head with reporting and replenishment activities. You will work closely with suppliers, warehouse teams, finance, and inventory management to ensure efficient procurement processes and high service levels.
Key Responsibilities
🛒 Procurement & Replenishment
- Create and manage daily purchase orders across assigned product categories.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate timely replenishment to maintain product availability.
- Identify and report stock shortages, overstocks, slow-moving items, and expiring inventory.
- Support demand planning by aligning purchasing activities with sales forecasts.
🤝 Supplier Coordination
- Act as the primary operational contact for suppliers regarding purchase orders and deliveries.
- Follow up on delivery schedules, confirmations, and outstanding orders.
- Verify delivery notes, invoices, and purchasing documentation for accuracy.
- Coordinate with Finance to ensure smooth invoice reconciliation and payment processing.
📦 Inventory & Service Level Management
- Support inventory availability targets across the dark store network.
- Track supplier performance using key metrics such as OTIF (On-Time In-Full), fulfillment rates, substitutions, and out-of-stock percentages.
- Collaborate with Inventory and Operations teams to improve stock accuracy and service levels.
- Escalate supply risks and inventory discrepancies to the Inventory Head.
📊 Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare daily and weekly procurement and inventory reports.
- Analyze purchasing trends, supplier performance, and stock availability.
- Highlight operational risks, inventory variances, and procurement challenges.
- Support continuous process improvements through data-driven recommendations.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, or Buying.
- Previous experience within FMCG, Retail, Grocery, E-commerce, or Q-Commerce is preferred.
- Experience working with multiple suppliers and inventory replenishment processes is an advantage.
