About This Role
As a Reporter, you will monitor regional developments, uncover exclusive stories, analyze market-moving events, and produce high-quality news and analysis for Dow Jones Newswires and its global publications. Working closely with colleagues across EMEA and The Wall Street Journal, you will help deliver timely coverage of financial markets, private equity, energy, and corporate developments across the Middle East.

- Break exclusive news covering business, finance, economics, capital markets, and energy.
- Monitor regional developments and identify stories that impact investors and financial markets.
- Conduct interviews with senior executives, government officials, investors, and industry experts.
- Deliver accurate, timely, and engaging news coverage under tight deadlines.
📊 Financial & Market Analysis
- Analyze market-moving events and provide insightful news interpretation.
- Produce concise news briefs, breaking news alerts, and in-depth analytical features.
- Cover private equity activity, capital flows, corporate transactions, and executive appointments.

Minimum Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Economics, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in journalism, business reporting, financial news, or economic reporting.
- Experience covering financial markets, corporate news, energy, or economic affairs is highly desirable.
- Previous experience with an international media organization or financial news outlet is an advantage.
