Rosewood Doha, one of Qatar’s most prestigious ultra-luxury lifestyle destinations, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Coordinator / Senior Housekeeping Associate to support the daily operations of its Housekeeping Department. This role is ideal for hospitality professionals passionate about delivering exceptional cleanliness, luxury service standards, and operational excellence within a Forbes and LQA-rated environment.
As part of the Housekeeping leadership team, you will coordinate housekeeping operations, supervise associates, manage inventories, ensure quality inspections, and support daily room readiness while maintaining the impeccable standards expected of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. You will collaborate closely with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, and other hotel departments to create exceptional guest experiences.
About This Role
The Housekeeping Coordinator / Senior Housekeeping Associate plays a vital role in ensuring guestrooms, public areas, linen operations, and housekeeping resources consistently meet Rosewood, Forbes Travel Guide, and Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards. You will assist supervisors with daily operations, quality inspections, scheduling, inventory management, training, and departmental coordination while promoting a culture of service excellence and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
🏨 Housekeeping Operations
- Support the daily operation of guestrooms, public areas, linen rooms, and housekeeping pantries.
- Coordinate housekeeping activities to ensure rooms are cleaned, inspected, and released on time.
- Monitor room readiness and assist with priority and rush room assignments.
- Ensure all housekeeping operations comply with Rosewood luxury service standards.
- Support smooth communication between Housekeeping, Front Office, Engineering, and Laundry teams.
🧹 Quality Assurance & Room Inspections
- Inspect guestrooms after cleaning to verify cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Conduct quality inspections of vacant rooms before guest arrival.
- Ensure compliance with Forbes Travel Guide, LQA, and Rosewood brand standards.
- Monitor housekeeping checklists and verify completion of assigned tasks.
- Follow up on corrective actions to maintain exceptional quality standards.
👥 Team Leadership & Training
- Supervise Housekeeping Associates, Public Area Attendants, and Linen Room staff.
- Allocate daily work assignments to maximize operational efficiency.
- Monitor associate grooming, uniform standards, attendance, and professionalism.
- Assist with onboarding, coaching, and training of housekeeping team members.
- Support supervisors during daily operations and provide leadership when required.
📦 Inventory & Linen Management
- Monitor and control housekeeping inventories, including linens, uniforms, guest amenities, and cleaning supplies.
- Prepare weekly and monthly inventory reports.
- Track linen movement between hotel operations and laundry facilities.
- Ensure housekeeping pantries remain fully stocked and organized.
- Monitor the condition of housekeeping equipment and request maintenance when necessary.
📋 Administration & Reporting
- Prepare staff rosters, attendance records, and timesheets.
- Maintain housekeeping records, room histories, and inventory documentation.
- Assist with departmental reports, checklists, and operational documentation.
- Coordinate communication regarding room status and housekeeping priorities.
- Maintain accurate lost-and-found records in accordance with hotel procedures.
🌸 Guest Service Excellence
- Interact professionally and courteously with guests at all times.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and housekeeping-related inquiries.
- Coordinate special room setups, amenities, flowers, and VIP requirements.
- Support prompt resolution of guest concerns and service recovery when needed.
- Deliver personalized luxury hospitality experiences that exceed guest expectations.
🛡️ Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with hotel health, hygiene, and workplace safety policies.
- Monitor housekeeping equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and operational concerns immediately.
- Participate in safety meetings and departmental training sessions.
- Follow emergency procedures and support hotel crisis response when required.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or Tourism is an advantage.
Experience
- Previous experience in Housekeeping Operations within a luxury hotel, resort, or upscale hospitality environment.
- Experience in supervisory or team leadership responsibilities is preferred.
- Familiarity with Forbes Travel Guide, LQA, or international luxury hotel standards is highly desirable.
