Hilton is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join its Housekeeping team. About This Role
The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, replenishing amenities, managing housekeeping supplies, and responding promptly to guest requests. Working as part of the Housekeeping team, you will ensure every room is prepared to the highest hospitality standards while contributing to a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
🛏️ Guest Room Cleaning
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to Hilton brand standards.
- Make beds and replace bed linens with fresh, clean linens.
- Clean bathrooms, mirrors, showers, bathtubs, sinks, and toilets thoroughly.
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and decorative items.
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and maintain overall room cleanliness.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
🧺 Linen & Guest Amenities
- Replace towels, bathrobes, linens, and guest amenities as required.
- Replenish toiletries, beverages, stationery, and in-room supplies.
- Ensure guest rooms are fully stocked and ready for occupancy.
- Report shortages of housekeeping supplies and amenities.
- Maintain consistent room presentation standards.
🛒 Housekeeping Operations
- Organize, stock, and maintain the housekeeping trolley with required supplies.
- Transport cleaning equipment and supplies safely throughout assigned areas.
- Follow daily room assignment schedules efficiently.
- Record completed rooms and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Support other housekeeping activities during busy periods.
🌟 Guest Service Excellence
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests.
- Deliver additional towels, amenities, or requested items efficiently.
- Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Communicate courteously with guests and colleagues.
- Contribute to a positive and memorable guest experience.
🧼 Health, Safety & Hygiene
- Follow hotel hygiene, sanitation, and housekeeping procedures.
- Dispose of waste and recyclables in designated areas.
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Report lost and found items following hotel procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Room Attendant, Housekeeping Attendant, or Cleaner in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Experience in luxury hotels or international hospitality brands is an advantage.
- Entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
