Qatar Airways Cargo is seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Global Sales & Operations Analyst to join its Cargo Product Team in Doha. This role is responsible for supporting global cargo sales operations, managing space allocations and pricing, analyzing commercial and operational performance, and driving digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and business growth.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, advanced business intelligence skills, and experience in sales operations, product support, or cargo operations. About This Role
As a Global Sales & Operations Analyst, you will analyze commercial, operational, and financial performance, support global sales and product development, manage operational data and reporting, coordinate digital transformation initiatives, and provide strategic insights that improve cargo operations and business performance across the global network.
Key Responsibilities
📊 Sales Operations & Business Analysis
- Analyze commercial, operational, and financial performance of Qatar Airways Cargo products.
- Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to improve revenue and operational efficiency.
- Support global sales teams with business insights and analytical reporting.
- Prepare dashboards, reports, and executive presentations for senior management.
- Assist Head Office in supporting key customer accounts and global business development initiatives.
📈 Product Performance & Development
- Monitor product performance against business objectives and industry benchmarks.
- Support product development initiatives through data analysis and performance evaluation.
- Design and develop professional sales presentations and business proposals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance product offerings and customer value.
🚚 Cargo Operations & Performance Management
- Support operational management of cargo space allocations, pricing, and vMail systems.
- Monitor operational KPIs including capacity utilization, flown-as-planned performance, and on-time performance.
- Analyze operational bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
- Support cargo network performance optimization through data-driven decision-making.
💻 Digital Transformation & Process Improvement
- Participate in digitalization and automation initiatives across cargo operations.
- Coordinate system enhancements and process improvement projects.
- Develop training materials and user documentation to support digital initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting and operational workflows.
- Support software and hardware performance monitoring related to electronic data exchange.
🤝 Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
- Build strong relationships with internal departments and global stakeholders.
- Collaborate with sales, product, cargo operations, IT, and commercial teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects to improve operational efficiency.
- Support strategic initiatives that strengthen Qatar Airways Cargo's global market position.
📋 Reporting & Business Intelligence
- Collect, validate, and analyze large datasets from multiple operational systems.
- Develop interactive dashboards using Business Intelligence tools.
- Generate accurate reports and performance analyses for management decision-making.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Aviation Management, Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in sales operations, business analysis, cargo operations, logistics, aviation, or product support.
- Experience within the air cargo or aviation industry is preferred.
- Product development or commercial operations experience is an advantage.
