Job Description/Specification:
Alwadi Hotel Doha – MGallery Collection by Accor is seeking a passionate and service-oriented Waiter/Waitress to join its Food & Beverage team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences by providing professional table service, maintaining high hospitality standards, and ensuring every guest receives personalized and memorable service.
The ideal candidate will have previous hotel dining experience, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for luxury hospitality while thriving in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
About This Role
As a Waiter/Waitress, you will welcome guests, present menus, take food and beverage orders, coordinate with the kitchen, serve meals and beverages efficiently, and ensure complete guest satisfaction while maintaining Accor's luxury service standards.
Key Responsibilities
🍽️ Guest Service
- Welcome guests warmly and provide a professional dining experience.
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
- Explain menu items, daily specials, and beverage options.
- Make recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Build positive guest relationships through attentive and personalized service.
🥂 Food & Beverage Service
- Accurately take food and beverage orders.
- Serve meals and beverages according to hotel service standards.
- Ensure orders are delivered promptly and correctly.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
- Process guest requests efficiently and professionally.
🤝 Team Collaboration
- Coordinate closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely service.
- Communicate special requests, dietary requirements, and order modifications accurately.
- Support colleagues during busy service periods.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
🧼 Restaurant Operations
- Prepare dining areas before service and maintain cleanliness throughout the shift.
- Set and clear tables according to hotel standards.
- Ensure restaurant equipment and service stations remain fully stocked.
- Follow opening and closing procedures.

- Resolve guest concerns promptly or escalate when necessary.
- Maintain exceptional hospitality standards throughout every shift.
- Promote hotel restaurants, promotions, and signature menu offerings.

Minimum Requirements
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or Hotel Management qualifications are an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a hotel, luxury restaurant, or hospitality environment.
- Previous experience in an international hotel brand is highly preferred.
