Qatar Airways Group is seeking an analytical and results-driven Senior Business Specialist to support the execution of strategic initiatives within its Technical Division. This role focuses on driving business performance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence through the Division's Deliver Sustainable Program (DSP) by leveraging data analytics, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
The successful candidate will work closely with Finance, Strategy, and Operational teams to monitor key performance indicators, identify business improvement opportunities, develop executive dashboards, and provide actionable insights that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support long-term business objectives.

As a Senior Business Specialist, you will analyze business performance, monitor strategic projects, develop management reporting tools, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and provide data-driven recommendations that support operational and financial decision-making across Qatar Airways Technical Operations.
Key Responsibilities
📊 Business Strategy & Performance Management
- Support the execution and monitoring of the Technical Division's strategic initiatives and Deliver Sustainable Program (DSP).
- Track strategic KPIs and business objectives across the assigned portfolio.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and business performance.
- Ensure alignment between operational activities and long-term strategic goals.
📈 Data Analytics & Business Intelligence
- Analyze large volumes of operational, financial, and commercial data.
- Develop insightful dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, Excel, and other analytical tools.
- Identify business trends, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Present actionable recommendations based on data-driven analysis.
💼 Continuous Improvement
- Drive process improvement initiatives across end-to-end business operations.
- Monitor the progress of strategic projects and recommend corrective actions when required.
- Support operational excellence through performance monitoring and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Promote a culture of innovation and operational efficiency.
🤝 Stakeholder Management
- Act as the key liaison between Finance, Strategy, Technical Operations, and other business stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication across departments to support strategic initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide subject matter expertise on business performance and operational improvements.
📑 Reporting & Executive Presentations
- Develop management reports, business scorecards, and executive dashboards.
- Prepare presentations on business performance for senior leadership.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and strategic recommendations effectively.
- Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.

- Monitor strategic projects and identify risks that may impact business objectives.

Minimum Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in business analysis, strategy, business performance, financial analysis, operational excellence, or continuous improvement.
- Experience working with large datasets and business intelligence platforms.
- Experience preparing executive-level reports and presentations for senior management.
