Job Description/Specification:
A leading Pediatric Therapy Center in Qatar is seeking two qualified Occupational Therapists to join its multidisciplinary healthcare team. This role is ideal for compassionate professionals who are passionate about helping children achieve greater independence, improve functional abilities, and reach developmental milestones through evidence-based occupational therapy interventions.
The successful candidates will assess pediatric clients, develop individualized treatment plans, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support children with developmental, sensory, behavioral, and learning challenges.
About This Role
As an Occupational Therapist, you will conduct comprehensive pediatric assessments, deliver individualized therapy programs, monitor client progress, and educate parents and caregivers to promote positive developmental outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
🧒 Pediatric Assessment & Intervention
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for pediatric clients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's developmental needs.
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions.
- Monitor progress and modify treatment plans to achieve therapy goals.
🧩 Therapeutic Programs
- Provide therapy for children with developmental delays.
- Support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorders, and learning difficulties.
- Implement sensory integration and functional skill development programs.
- Promote independence in daily living, play, school, and social participation.
🤝 Family & Multidisciplinary Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with physiotherapists, speech therapists, psychologists, educators, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate parents and caregivers on home-based intervention strategies.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and treatment planning.
- Maintain professional communication with families and clinical teams.
📋 Clinical Documentation & Quality
- Maintain accurate assessment reports and treatment documentation.
- Monitor therapy outcomes and client progress.
- Ensure compliance with clinical, ethical, and infection control standards.
- Support continuous quality improvement initiatives within the therapy center.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Experience
- Experience working with children in pediatric, rehabilitation, or therapy settings.
- Experience supporting children with developmental delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorders, and learning difficulties.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Sensory Integration Therapy is highly desirable.
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- DataFlow eligibility or willingness to complete DataFlow verification.
