Job Description/Specification:
A leading healthcare and wellness provider is seeking a qualified and experienced Professional Massage Therapist to join its multidisciplinary team in Qatar. This role is ideal for licensed massage professionals with strong clinical expertise in therapeutic and rehabilitation techniques who are passionate about improving patients' health, mobility, and overall wellbeing.
The successful candidate will conduct client assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, deliver a wide range of massage therapies, and work closely with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
About This Role
As a Professional Massage Therapist, you will assess clients, provide evidence-based therapeutic massage treatments, maintain accurate clinical records, educate patients on recovery techniques, and ensure the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and professional care.
Key Responsibilities
💆 Client Assessment & Treatment
- Conduct comprehensive client assessments before each treatment session.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual health conditions and goals.
- Deliver safe, effective, and professional massage therapy sessions.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as required.
🩺 Therapeutic Massage Services
- Perform Swedish Massage.
- Deliver Deep Tissue and Therapeutic Massage.
- Provide Sports Massage and Trigger Point Therapy.
- Apply Myofascial Release and Manual Stretching techniques.
- Perform Lymphatic Drainage and Prenatal Massage.
- Administer Hot Stone Massage, Cupping Therapy, and Relaxation Massage.
📋 Patient Care & Documentation
- Maintain accurate treatment records and clinical documentation.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care, stretching, and injury prevention.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and maintain professional ethics.
- Promote patient wellbeing through evidence-based care.
🤝 Clinical Collaboration & Safety
- Work collaboratively with physiotherapists and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic treatment environment.
- Follow infection prevention and clinical safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with professional healthcare standards.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Massage Therapy, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, or a related healthcare field.
Experience
- Minimum 4 years of professional clinical experience as a Massage Therapist.
- Experience in healthcare clinics, physiotherapy centers, rehabilitation facilities, wellness centers, or sports medicine is preferred.
