Job Description/Specification:
Ibis & Adagio Doha, part of the globally recognized Accor Hotels, is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Food & Beverage Server (Waiter/Waitress) to deliver exceptional dining experiences across its restaurants. This role is ideal for hospitality professionals who are passionate about guest service, food presentation, and creating memorable dining experiences.
The successful candidate will provide personalized service, recommend menu items, maximize Food & Beverage sales through upselling, and ensure every guest receives professional and attentive service in line with Accor's hospitality standards.
About This Role
As a Food & Beverage Server, you will welcome guests, take food and beverage orders, recommend menu items, process payments, and deliver outstanding service while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
🍽️ Guest Service
- Welcome and assist guests with a warm and professional attitude.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve meals and beverages according to hotel service standards.
- Ensure guests enjoy a memorable dining experience throughout their visit.
🥂 Food & Beverage Knowledge
- Develop in-depth knowledge of menu items, beverages, and allergens.
- Recommend food and beverage pairings based on guest preferences.
- Promote daily specials and hotel promotions.
- Upsell menu items and premium beverage options to maximize revenue.
💳 Cashiering & Restaurant Operations
- Process guest payments accurately using POS systems.
- Handle cashier responsibilities in accordance with hotel procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
- Assist with restaurant setup and closing duties.
🤝 Teamwork & Operational Support
- Support colleagues to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Assist other Food & Beverage outlets when required.
- Follow hotel hygiene, safety, and service standards.
- Adapt to operational requirements and support other departments when needed.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, café, or Food & Beverage environment is preferred.
- Fresh candidates with excellent customer service skills are encouraged to apply.
