Job Description/Specification:
Oaks Al Najada Doha, part of the globally recognized Minor Hotels portfolio, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead its housekeeping operations in Doha, Qatar. This role is responsible for maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards, supervising housekeeping staff, and ensuring guest rooms and public areas consistently meet the hotel's quality expectations.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience managing housekeeping teams, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences in a hospitality environment.
About This Role
As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will oversee daily housekeeping operations, supervise cleaning staff, maintain cleanliness standards, manage inventories, and support the delivery of exceptional guest service across the property.
Key Responsibilities
🧹 Housekeeping Operations
- Supervise daily housekeeping activities across guest rooms and public areas.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the property.
- Inspect rooms and common areas to maintain quality standards.
- Monitor housekeeping productivity and operational efficiency.
👥 Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and support housekeeping staff.
- Conduct on-the-job training for new and existing team members.
- Foster a positive, productive, and collaborative work environment.
- Coordinate effectively with contractors and other hotel departments.
📦 Inventory & Administration
- Monitor housekeeping supplies, linen, and cleaning equipment.
- Maintain inventory, maintenance, and operational records.
- Assist with budget control and cost management.
- Ensure timely reporting of maintenance issues.
✅ Quality & Compliance
- Enforce hotel cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with housekeeping procedures and SOPs.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
- Deliver exceptional service that enhances guest satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Hospitality or Housekeeping certification is an advantage.
Experience
- Previous experience supervising a housekeeping team in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Experience managing housekeeping budgets, supplies, and operational resources.
