talabat, part of the global Delivery Hero Group, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Acquisition Manager (Sales) to lead restaurant acquisition and sales growth in Qatar. This leadership role is responsible for managing a team of Sales Executives, driving new restaurant partnerships, achieving ambitious acquisition targets, and expanding Talabat's merchant network across assigned territories.

The successful candidate will oversee the complete sales lifecycle—from lead generation and prospecting to contract negotiation and partner onboarding—while coaching high-performing sales teams and collaborating with cross-functional departments. About This Role

As an Acquisition Manager (Sales), you will lead field sales operations, develop acquisition strategies, monitor sales performance, and build strong relationships with restaurant partners. You will analyze market trends, optimize sales processes, mentor your team, and ensure consistent achievement of revenue and acquisition goals while supporting Talabat's continued market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Sales Executives to achieve monthly acquisition targets.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions, field visits, and performance reviews.
  • Develop sales capabilities through continuous training and mentoring.
  • Foster a high-performance, target-driven, and collaborative sales culture.
  • Monitor individual and team KPIs to maximize productivity and sales effectiveness.

Restaurant Acquisition & Business Development

  • Manage the complete restaurant acquisition process from prospecting to signed agreements.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified restaurant prospects.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, commission structures, and promotional partnerships.
  • Expand Talabat's restaurant network across assigned territories.
  • Develop long-term relationships with prospective business partners.

Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales activities and conversion metrics.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipelines and forecasting using CRM platforms.
  • Prepare performance reports and provide sales insights to senior management.
  • Ensure CRM records and sales documentation remain accurate and up to date.
  • Track pipeline health and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates.

Market Analysis & Strategic Growth

  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market developments.
  • Identify emerging business opportunities and recommend growth initiatives.
  • Analyze customer and merchant feedback to improve acquisition strategies.
  • Support commercial planning through market intelligence and sales analytics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Onboarding and Account Management teams to ensure smooth merchant activation.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Finance to execute commercial campaigns.
  • Support product launches and promotional initiatives with field execution.
  • Represent Talabat professionally while strengthening relationships with restaurant partners.

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Management, or a related discipline.
  • MBA or postgraduate qualification is considered an advantage.

Experience

  • 4–6 years of experience in sales, business development, or merchant acquisition.
  • Previous experience leading or supervising sales teams.
  • Proven success in achieving and exceeding sales targets within field sales environments.
  • Experience in food delivery, e-commerce, FMCG, hospitality, retail, or technology industries is highly preferred.
