Job Description/Specification:
Hilton is seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Bell Boy to join its Front Office team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by assisting with luggage handling, responding to guest requests, providing local information, and ensuring every guest enjoys a warm welcome and memorable stay from arrival through departure.
The successful candidate will serve as one of the hotel's first points of contact, creating positive first impressions while supporting guests with personalized services, transportation arrangements, special requests, and concierge assistance. About This Role
As a Bell Boy, you will welcome guests upon arrival, assist with luggage, escort guests to their rooms, provide information about hotel facilities and local attractions, and support concierge and front office operations. You will work closely with multiple hotel departments to ensure a seamless and enjoyable guest experience while maintaining Hilton's renowned hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Arrival & Departure Services
- Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and assist with luggage handling.
- Escort guests to their rooms and introduce hotel facilities and amenities.
- Assist guests during check-out by transporting luggage and arranging transportation.
- Ensure prompt and courteous service throughout the guest journey.
Guest Assistance & Concierge Services
- Respond professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns.
- Provide recommendations on restaurants, transportation, attractions, shopping, and local events.
- Arrange transportation, tours, dining reservations, and other concierge services.
- Coordinate personalized guest requests, including medical assistance, childcare, and floral arrangements.
Guest Communications
- Receive, handle, and deliver guest messages, mail, parcels, and packages.
- Ensure timely delivery of guest correspondence and requested items.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling guest information.
VIP & Special Guest Services
- Support VIP arrivals by coordinating luggage assistance and personalized services.
- Assist with guest registration and special arrival arrangements.
- Deliver exceptional service that exceeds guest expectations and enhances loyalty.
Team Collaboration & Hotel Support
- Promote hotel facilities, services, and special offers to guests.
- Collaborate with Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, Security, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming entrance and lobby area.
- Perform additional guest service duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Bell Boy, Porter, Concierge Assistant, Guest Service Agent, or in a customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Experience in luxury hotels or international hospitality brands is an advantage.
