Four Seasons Hotel Doha is seeking an enthusiastic and service-oriented Restaurant Hostess to join its award-winning Food & Beverage team. As the first point of contact for guests, you will create exceptional first impressions by welcoming diners, managing reservations, coordinating seating arrangements, and delivering personalized service that reflects Four Seasons' world-renowned luxury hospitality standards.

About This Role
As a Restaurant Hostess, you will manage guest arrivals, reservations, and seating while ensuring efficient restaurant operations. You will coordinate with restaurant managers and service staff, maintain reservation systems, anticipate guest needs, and contribute to delivering memorable dining experiences in line with Four Seasons' exceptional service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Reception & Hospitality
- Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their assigned tables.
- Deliver personalized service that creates a positive first impression.
- Recognize returning guests and provide tailored hospitality whenever possible.
- Manage guest waiting lists and communicate estimated waiting times.
- Respond professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and special seating preferences.
- Ensure every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience from arrival to departure.
Reservation & Table Management
- Manage restaurant reservations received by telephone and other booking channels.
- Maintain accurate reservation records and guest preferences.
- Coordinate seating plans based on reservations, guest preferences, and operational requirements.
- Monitor restaurant capacity, table availability, and server workloads.
- Optimize table turnover while maintaining exceptional guest service.
Restaurant Operations
- Prepare and maintain the hostess station before each service period.
- Ensure restaurant menus are clean, updated, and professionally presented.
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and restaurant offerings.
- Verify table setups and coordinate minor adjustments when required.
- Support restaurant managers with menu updates, signage, and operational projects.
Guest Relations
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively provide assistance.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain excellent communication with restaurant teams to ensure smooth service.
- Build positive relationships that encourage repeat guest visits and loyalty.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with restaurant managers, servers, kitchen staff, and supervisors.
- Support colleagues during busy service periods to ensure operational efficiency.
- Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
- Maintain Four Seasons' grooming, professionalism, and service standards at all times.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Tourism, or a related discipline is preferred.
Experience
- 2–4 years of experience as a Hostess, Restaurant Receptionist, Guest Relations Agent, or Front-of-House professional within a luxury hotel or resort.
- Previous experience in luxury hospitality or fine dining restaurants is highly preferred.
