Sedra Arjaan by Rotana is seeking a professional and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join its Front Office team in Doha, Qatar. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service from arrival through departure, ensuring every guest enjoys a welcoming, seamless, and memorable stay while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.
The successful candidate will manage front desk operations, assist guests with inquiries, process check-ins and check-outs, handle cashiering responsibilities, and provide accurate information about the hotel and local attractions. About This Role
As a Front Desk Agent, you will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing personalized service while ensuring efficient front office operations. You will coordinate with various hotel departments, maintain guest records, process financial transactions, and contribute to delivering the high-quality service standards associated with the Rotana brand.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Services
- Welcome guests warmly and provide a professional check-in and check-out experience.
- Deliver personalized service to ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay.
- Escort guests to their rooms when required and provide room orientation.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, promotions, and local attractions.
Front Office Operations
- Manage guest accounts accurately from arrival to departure.
- Process reservations, room assignments, billing, and cashiering transactions.
- Ensure all incidental charges are correctly posted using Front Office systems.
- Maintain accurate guest records and operational documentation.
- Follow hotel policies, procedures, and service standards at all times.
Cashiering & Administration
- Perform front desk cashiering duties accurately and efficiently.
- Handle guest payments while ensuring compliance with financial procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and personal data.
- Monitor room availability, occupancy levels, and daily room rates.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with Housekeeping, Concierge, Reservations, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Participate in departmental meetings and ongoing training programs.
- Support colleagues in delivering exceptional customer service.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Tourism, or a related discipline.
Experience
- Previous experience in a Front Office Department within a hotel is preferred.
- Experience in international or luxury hospitality environments is an advantage.
