Job Description/Specification:
Qatar Aircraft Catering Company (QACC), a member of the Qatar Airways Group, is seeking an experienced Standards & Compliance Manager to lead compliance, quality, and operational excellence initiatives across its catering operations in Doha, Qatar. This role is responsible for ensuring that inflight catering, lounges, cafeterias, and related operations consistently meet internal standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
The successful candidate will drive the digital transformation of compliance processes by implementing automated audit tracking systems, centralized Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), real-time KPI dashboards, and structured training programs. About This Role
As the Standards & Compliance Manager, you will oversee compliance monitoring, audit management, SOP governance, operational training, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with operational teams to strengthen quality standards, improve efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making through digital compliance systems and performance reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance & Audit Management
- Develop and implement digital compliance tracking systems for audits and corrective actions.
- Automate audit checklists to improve monitoring and reporting efficiency.
- Conduct scheduled and unannounced operational audits across catering, lounge, and cafeteria operations.
- Monitor compliance with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and airline-specific procedures.
- Ensure timely resolution and tracking of audit findings.
Quality Management & Continuous Improvement
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives based on audit findings, operational feedback, and customer insights.
- Conduct trend analysis on audit results, customer feedback, and quality performance.
- Drive operational improvements to enhance efficiency and eliminate process gaps.
- Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and compliance throughout the organization.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Lead the digitization and centralization of Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ensure SOPs are regularly reviewed, updated, and aligned with operational requirements and regulatory standards.
- Standardize operational documentation to improve consistency and compliance.
- Develop digital systems to manage SOP distribution, version control, and employee access.
Training & Development
- Develop digital training management systems to monitor employee certifications and training completion.
- Coordinate structured compliance, food safety, hygiene, and operational training programs.
- Ensure employees receive ongoing education on updated procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Support training initiatives related to ramp operations, safety, and security compliance.
Data Analytics & Reporting
- Develop real-time compliance dashboards using Power BI and other reporting tools.
- Prepare compliance reports, KPI dashboards, and management performance reviews.
- Provide analytical insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Monitor training, compliance, and quality performance metrics across departments.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Economics, Business Analytics, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in food safety, quality assurance, catering operations, or compliance management.
- Experience within airline catering, hospitality, food production, or similar operational environments is preferred.
- Experience developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Experience delivering compliance and operational training programs.
