Job Description/Specification:
VisioQ is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Engineer – ELV Systems to join its growing team in Doha, Qatar. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in selling Extra Low Voltage (ELV) and low-current systems who can combine technical expertise with strong business development skills to deliver tailored solutions for clients across various industries.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, preparing technical proposals, supporting tender submissions, and achieving sales targets. Working closely with consultants, contractors, developers, and technology partners, you will play a key role in expanding VisioQ's presence within Qatar's ELV market.
About This Role
As a Sales Engineer, you will manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation and technical consultation to tender submission and project award. You will provide pre-sales support, prepare system designs and commercial proposals, conduct site visits, and collaborate with vendors to deliver competitive ELV solutions that meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Generate and qualify sales opportunities across consultants, contractors, developers, and end users.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales and profitability targets.
- Develop long-term relationships with consultants and contractors to secure product approvals and specifications.
- Represent the company during client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
Technical Pre-Sales
- Review tender documents, technical drawings, and project specifications.
- Develop compliant ELV system designs and technical proposals.
- Conduct site surveys and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
- Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors regarding product selection, technical specifications, and pricing.
- Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution briefings.
Tendering & Commercial Support
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), technical compliance documents, quotations, and commercial proposals.
- Submit tenders and quotations within project deadlines.
- Respond to technical and commercial clarifications.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms where required.
- Follow up on submitted quotations to maximize project conversion.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in ELV or low-current systems sales or pre-sales.
- Experience working within Qatar or the GCC is preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a systems integration or technology solutions environment.
