Element by Marriott is offering an exciting Hotel Internship Program in Doha, Qatar, designed for current college and university students who are passionate about building a career in the hospitality industry. This full-time internship provides practical, hands-on experience across various hotel operations, allowing interns to gain valuable industry exposure while developing professional skills in a real-world environment.

The internship is an excellent opportunity to learn directly from experienced hospitality professionals, understand hotel operations, and explore different departments within one of the world's leading hotel groups. Participants will gain practical knowledge, develop customer service skills, and build a strong foundation for future careers in hospitality and tourism.

About This Role

As a Hotel Intern, you will support daily hotel operations while gaining practical experience in different functional areas. You will work alongside experienced team members, contribute to guest service excellence, and develop an understanding of hospitality management, hotel operations, and Marriott's service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Hotel Operations

  • Assist with daily operational activities across assigned hotel departments.
  • Gain practical exposure to hotel management and operational procedures.
  • Support departmental teams in delivering efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Learn hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.

Guest Services

  • Assist in delivering excellent customer service to hotel guests.
  • Support guest interactions while maintaining professional hospitality standards.
  • Contribute to creating a welcoming and positive guest experience.
  • Learn best practices in guest relations and customer satisfaction.

Learning & Development

  • Participate in structured learning and on-the-job training activities.
  • Develop an understanding of hospitality operations and business functions.
  • Learn from experienced hotel professionals and departmental leaders.
  • Build practical skills to prepare for a successful hospitality career.

Team Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across different hotel departments.
  • Participate in assigned projects and team activities.

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • Must be a current college or university student.
  • Students pursuing Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, Hotel Management, or related disciplines are encouraged to apply.

Experience

  • No prior work experience is required.
  • Previous internship, volunteer work, or customer service experience is an advantage.
