Job Description/Specification:
A leading organization in Doha, Qatar is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager (Cybersecurity) to lead the successful delivery of enterprise cybersecurity initiatives across IT, Operational Technology (OT), and business environments. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cybersecurity professional with strong project management expertise to manage complex security transformation projects while collaborating with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
The successful candidate will oversee the complete project lifecycle, ensuring cybersecurity solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements. This role requires extensive experience in cybersecurity technologies, stakeholder management, governance, risk management, and project delivery methodologies.
About This Role
As a Technical Project Manager (Cybersecurity), you will manage multiple cybersecurity projects from planning through implementation and closure. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, oversee vendor performance, manage project risks, and ensure enterprise security solutions are implemented successfully while aligning with business objectives and cybersecurity best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of enterprise cybersecurity projects from initiation through testing, commissioning, and project closure.
- Develop project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and budgets.
- Monitor project progress, milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality standards.
- Provide regular project status updates to program management and executive stakeholders.
Cybersecurity Program Delivery
- Lead the implementation of enterprise cybersecurity solutions, including:
- Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
- Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Extended Detection and Response (XDR)
- Web Security Gateway (Proxy)
- Secure Email Gateway (SEG)
- OT/IoT Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
- Network Access Control (NAC)
- Network Detection and Response (NDR)
- Centralized Network Monitoring
- Patch Management Solutions

- Vulnerability Management Platforms

Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and implementation partners.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and technical concepts effectively to both technical and executive audiences.
- Facilitate collaboration across multiple business units and project teams.
Risk, Compliance & Governance
- Identify, assess, and manage project-related cybersecurity risks.
- Ensure project deliverables comply with applicable cybersecurity regulations, standards, and governance frameworks.
- Support internal and external audits and coordinate remediation activities.
Vendor & Resource Management
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, consultants, and implementation partners.
- Monitor vendor performance, contract deliverables, and service quality.
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure successful project execution.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Master's Degree is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in cybersecurity.
- At least 5 years of experience managing enterprise cybersecurity projects.
- Proven experience managing large-scale cybersecurity implementations involving multiple stakeholders, budgets, and project teams.
- Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions across IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments.
