Job Description/Specification:
A leading organization in Doha, Qatar is looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Training & Awareness Specialist to strengthen its cybersecurity culture through the development and delivery of high-quality security awareness and training programs. This role is ideal for cybersecurity professionals with strong technical expertise and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to diverse audiences.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging cybersecurity learning content, conducting security awareness initiatives, developing role-based training programs, and evaluating their effectiveness. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will help improve the organization's overall security posture by ensuring employees are equipped to recognize and respond to evolving cyber threats.
About This Role
As a Cybersecurity Training & Awareness Specialist, you will design and deliver cybersecurity training programs, develop awareness campaigns, create realistic simulation exercises, and assess organizational security awareness. You will also monitor emerging cyber threats and continuously improve learning content to ensure it remains relevant and effective.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Development
- Design and deliver engaging cybersecurity training programs for employees.
- Develop customized learning programs tailored to different departments and job roles.
- Create and maintain cybersecurity awareness materials and educational content.
- Review and enhance training programs based on feedback, business needs, and emerging threats.
Security Awareness
- Assess organizational security awareness levels and identify training requirements.
- Develop phishing simulations, cyber attack scenarios, and practical security exercises.
- Promote cybersecurity best practices across the organization.
- Support initiatives that strengthen the organization's cybersecurity culture.
Research & Continuous Improvement
- Research emerging cybersecurity threats, attack techniques, vulnerabilities, and defence strategies.
- Recommend improvements to security awareness programs based on industry trends and evolving risks.
- Ensure learning content reflects current cybersecurity best practices.
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Monitor training participation and effectiveness.
- Track and report learning and development metrics.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities and program performance.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Master's Degree in Cybersecurity is preferred.
Experience
- 5–10 years of professional experience in cybersecurity.
- Experience developing and delivering cybersecurity training and awareness programs.
- Experience creating security awareness content and practical training exercises.
