Job Description/Specification:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Biomedical Sales Engineer – IVD Diagnostics to join our growing team in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) products, laboratory analyzers, reagents, consumables, and diagnostic solutions to hospitals, laboratories, healthcare institutions, and industrial customers across Qatar.
This role combines technical expertise with business development, making it ideal for professionals who are passionate about medical technologies, laboratory solutions, and driving sales growth.
About This Role
As a Biomedical Sales Engineer, you will identify new business opportunities, manage key customer accounts, deliver technical product demonstrations, and provide consultative laboratory solutions. You will work closely with healthcare professionals and laboratory specialists to recommend the most suitable diagnostic technologies while ensuring excellent after-sales support and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
🔬 Sales & Business Development
✅ Promote and sell In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) products, laboratory analyzers, reagents, consumables, and diagnostic solutions.
✅ Develop new business opportunities across hospitals, laboratories, healthcare institutions, and industrial sectors.
✅ Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets through strategic business development.
🤝 Customer Relationship Management
✅ Build and maintain long-term relationships with hospitals, laboratories, healthcare professionals, and key decision-makers.
✅ Conduct regular customer visits and follow-up meetings.
✅ Deliver exceptional customer service and after-sales support.
🧪 Technical Sales Support
✅ Conduct technical product presentations, demonstrations, and customer training sessions.
✅ Recommend laboratory solutions based on customer requirements.
✅ Provide technical consultation on IVD products and diagnostic technologies.
📈 Market Development
✅ Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
✅ Identify opportunities to expand market share and introduce new products.
✅ Participate in exhibitions, conferences, seminars, and scientific events.
📋 Reporting & Coordination
✅ Maintain accurate sales records and customer information using CRM systems.
✅ Prepare sales forecasts, activity reports, and market analysis.
✅ Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely product delivery, installation, and technical support.
Minimum Requirements
🎓 Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related scientific discipline.
💼 Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience in the Qatar market.
- Proven experience in the In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) industry is mandatory.
- Experience selling laboratory analyzers, reagents, consumables, and laboratory solutions is highly preferred.
- Experience with industrial laboratory products is an added advantage.
