Mandarin Oriental Doha is seeking a professional and customer-focused Reservations Services Agent to join its Reservations team. This role is ideal for hospitality professionals who excel in guest communication, reservation management, and delivering exceptional luxury service. You will play a key role in creating outstanding guest experiences by managing room, restaurant, and spa reservations while maximizing revenue opportunities.

About This Role

As a Reservations Services Agent, you will be the primary point of contact for guests making reservations and inquiries. You will handle bookings via phone, email, and reservation systems, ensuring every interaction reflects Mandarin Oriental's renowned luxury service standards. The role requires excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

🏨 Reservations Management

✅ Process room, restaurant, and spa reservations accurately and efficiently.

✅ Verify room availability, rates, and booking requirements.

✅ Record guest preferences and special requests within the reservation system.

☎️ Guest Communication

✅ Handle incoming calls, emails, and reservation inquiries professionally.

✅ Respond promptly to guest requests, complaints, and booking modifications.

✅ Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, room types, rates, and services.

💼 Sales & Revenue Support

✅ Apply upselling and cross-selling techniques to maximize hotel revenue.

✅ Prepare proposals, confirmation letters, and pro-forma invoices for guests and travel agencies.

✅ Ensure reservations comply with hotel policies, including payment guarantees and cancellation terms.

🤝 Team Collaboration

✅ Coordinate closely with Front Office, Food & Beverage, Spa, and Housekeeping teams.

✅ Escalate complex guest concerns to the appropriate managers.

✅ Support colleagues in delivering seamless luxury guest experiences.

⭐ Guest Experience

✅ Deliver personalized and professional service aligned with Forbes and Mandarin Oriental luxury standards.

✅ Build positive relationships with guests while ensuring complete satisfaction throughout the reservation process.

Minimum Requirements

🎓 Education

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

💼 Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a Reservations role within a 5-star luxury hotel.
  • Previous experience in the Middle East hospitality industry is an advantage.
  • Experience using hotel reservation or Property Management Systems (PMS) is preferred.
