Snoonu is seeking an organized and proactive Camp Officer to oversee the daily operations of employee accommodation facilities in Qatar. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in camp administration, accommodation management, or hospitality who are passionate about creating a safe, comfortable, and well-managed living environment for employees.

The successful candidate will coordinate accommodation operations, supervise support staff, ensure compliance with safety standards, and act as the primary point of contact between camp residents and internal departments.

About This Role

As a Camp Officer, you will manage the day-to-day operations of employee accommodation, ensuring facilities are safe, organized, and operate efficiently. You will coordinate employee arrivals and departures, oversee camp activities, maintain accurate records, and work closely with HR, Operations, and Accommodation teams to provide a positive living experience.

This role requires strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

🏠 Camp Operations

✅ Supervise daily camp operations and accommodation support staff.

✅ Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized living environment.

✅ Monitor employee well-being and promote a positive camp culture.

👥 Employee Support

✅ Assist employees with accommodation-related inquiries and concerns.

✅ Support employee check-in and check-out procedures.

✅ Organize room allocations and bedding arrangements for new arrivals.

📅 Activities & Coordination

✅ Plan and coordinate employee activities and engagement programs.

✅ Organize special events that encourage a positive community atmosphere.

✅ Coordinate transportation requirements for new arrivals with Operations.

🛡️ Safety & Compliance

✅ Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable local regulations.

✅ Conduct regular inspections of camp facilities and equipment.

✅ Maintain records of incidents, attendance, and accommodation activities.

📋 Administration & Reporting

✅ Prepare schedules, reports, and accommodation records.

✅ Manage camp inventory and ensure essential supplies are available.

✅ Coordinate with HR Operations and Accommodation Supervisors on operational matters.

🤝 Team Leadership

✅ Supervise camp support staff and monitor performance.

✅ Resolve employee concerns professionally and efficiently.

✅ Promote teamwork and maintain positive working relationships.

Minimum Requirements

🎓 Education

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Recreation, Physical Education, Social Work, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

💼 Experience

  • Previous experience in camp management, accommodation management, hospitality, facilities management, or employee welfare is preferred.
  • Experience in event coordination or workforce accommodation is an advantage.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience in a similar environment is beneficial.
