Job Description/Specification:
Al Najada Doha Hotel by Tivoli is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Guest Service Agent to join its Front Office team in Doha, Qatar. This role is ideal for hospitality professionals who enjoy interacting with guests, delivering exceptional customer service, and creating memorable hotel experiences from check-in to check-out.
The successful candidate will serve as one of the first points of contact for guests, ensuring smooth reservations, efficient front desk operations, and personalized service throughout every stage of the guest journey.
About This Role
As a Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, processing check-ins and check-outs, handling guest requests, and providing accurate information about hotel services and local attractions. You will work closely with other hotel departments to ensure every guest receives prompt, professional, and personalized service.
This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
🏨 Front Office Operations
✅ Welcome guests with a professional and friendly attitude.
✅ Complete guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
✅ Process reservations, room allocations, and guest registrations.
✅ Handle guest billing and payment transactions accurately.
🤝 Guest Services
✅ Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and special requirements.
✅ Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
✅ Resolve guest concerns professionally or escalate when necessary.
✅ Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the guest's stay.
📞 Reservations & Administration
✅ Manage room reservations and booking modifications.
✅ Maintain accurate guest records within the Property Management System (PMS).
✅ Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure room readiness.
✅ Prepare reports and update front office records as required.
💼 Team Collaboration
✅ Work closely with housekeeping, concierge, food & beverage, and maintenance teams.
✅ Support smooth daily front office operations.
✅ Maintain high standards of professionalism and hospitality.
Minimum Requirements
🎓 Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field is an advantage.
💼 Experience
- Previous experience in hotel front office or guest services is preferred.
- Experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel is an advantage.
- Fresh graduates with hospitality training and excellent customer service skills may also be considered.
